Shell Scheme Stands

This year shell scheme stands will be provided by Full Circle. They will be constructed from Quad Fronted Octanorm with a white frame fitted with white, Foamex wall panels. This is a different system from that used previously so wall panel sizes have altered. Click here for further information and panel sizes. Please note that it is necessary to position support posts at least every 4 meters on open sides and/or central points of larger shell scheme stands. 

Shell Scheme Package

A standard shell scheme package stand includes the following: 

  

Up to 17 sqm

  • Blue and white fascia nameboard to include your company name and stand number
  • Carpet (dark grey)
  • 2 spotlights, one 500w electric socket
  • 1 table, 2 chairs

     

18 sqm - 26 sqm

  • Blue and white fascia nameboard to include your company name and stand number
  • Carpet (dark grey)
  • 4 spotlights, two 500w electric sockets
  • 2 tables, 4 chairs

     

27 sqm -35 sqm

  • Blue and white fascia nameboard to include your company name and stand number
  • Carpet (dark grey)
  • 6 spotlights, three 500w electric sockets
  • 3 tables, 6 chairs

  

Shell Scheme panels should be treated carefully to avoid damage. Please note, the wall panels are a different size from previous years. Click here for further information and the Dos and Don’ts of attaching items. Advice should be sought from Full Circle for mounting heavy materials as special battens or infills may be needed. No items are to be fixed to or suspended from the fascia or celling grid as this could affect the structural integrity of the stand. 

Carpet

Shell scheme stands are provided with a grey carpet. If you would like a different coloured carpet, or other floor covering, for your stand an order can be placed with Full Circle. Please see the Portal / Contact Details section below. 

Electricity & Lighting

All shell scheme stands come with 1 x 500w socket and 2 x spotlights per 9sqm. For any additional electrical requirements please contact Full Circle.


The electricity network should generally be regarded as being "live". The voltage is, however, usually disconnected 30 minutes after closing and connected 30 minutes before opening. If an electricity supply is required at other times, for night-time operation or during build-up or breakdown, please contact Full Circle.   


For guidance on what a 500w socket can be used for please see below. For an accurate measure of the wattage required by the appliance in question, please refer to the associated manual, contact the relevant manufacturer or contact Full Circle for advice. 

Fascia Nameboard

All shell scheme stands are provided with a nameboard to include their company name and stand number. Any exhibitor who has not completed the Nameboard order form by 16 May will automatically be provided with their company name as stated on the exhibition contract.
Any amendments to the fascia nameboard after 16 May will be charged to the exhibitor.

Furniture

For each full 9sqm of shell scheme you have booked you will receive:

  • one table (Surf table ref DT01C) - standard white table top, 600mm diameter
  • two chairs (Wave chairs ref JD70C) - white


It is not possible to swap the furniture package for any other furniture. If you wish to change the furniture on your stand, please place a new furniture order with Full Circle and inform them that you do not want to receive the furniture from the shell scheme package. Additional furniture can also be ordered from Full Circle. Please see the Portal / Contact Details section below.

Large Exhibits

If you are planning to have a large exhibit on your stand, please contact the Operations Team with details as it may be necessary to position it before the fascia board can be added.

Full Circle Exhibitor Portal / Contact Details

Full Circle Events & Exhibitions (the official event contractor) have an online portal where orders can be placed for electrics, floorcoverings / carpet, nameboard and shell scheme accessories: https://RUKGOW25.exhibitconnect.co.uk/.


Please note, each exhibitor will receive a unique username and password from Full Circle (via exhibitors@exhibitconnect.co.uk) to be able to log onto the portal. Please check your junk/spam folder. If you are experiencing any technical issues with this service or need help with your orders, please contact Full Circle on 0161 393 3949 or email them at exhibitors@exhibitconnect.co.uk. If you are using a Contractor please ensure you pass on your log in details to them.


Full Circle’s experienced Enhancements Team can provide you with a range of package solutions to suit your specific needs, including graphics, furniture, AV, electrics & lighting and floorcovering. The graphics service includes printing, delivery, installation and removal.

Compulsory Forms

The following documents are mandatory and should be returned by the given deadline. Exhibitors that have not returned their forms will not be allowed to enter the hall and commence build. The forms can be found in the Order Forms / Checklist section of this manual.


  • Health & Safety Form - deadline 17 April
  • Shell Scheme / Show Ready Risk Assessment Form – deadline 17 April
  • Nameboard Form - deadline 16 May
  • Public Liability Insurance - deadline 16 May 

Demonstrations

  • Any exhibitors planning a working demonstration on their stand must inform the Exhibition Operations Team by 17 April.
  • Demonstration areas must be indicated on your stand plans. If necessary, soundproofing must be included within the construction of this area.
  • Plans must also show any proposed queuing and viewing areas within the stands.
  • Organisers reserve the right to forbid working demonstrations onsite if they disturb neighbouring stands or pose a threat to the public in any way.

Distribution of Promotional Material

Promotional material may only be distributed from your stand. It is not permitted to distribute leaflets etc at the entrance to the event, in the gangways or any other part of the exhibition hall. Please note that materials must not be attached to the fabric of the building. Any costs which result from the removal of these kinds of materials will be charged to the exhibitor responsible.


  • When preparing printed promotional materials for your stand, consider using digital brochures that can be displayed on screens or portable digital devices at the venue.
  • When choosing merchandise for your stand, consider the materials used and the transportation distance to the venue.
  • The use of plastic is strictly prohibited at the event. This may include for example packaging for any merchandise, cups, or soft drink plastic bottles. The event organisers, RenewableUK, have the right to ask you to remove and cease using any plastic-based merchandise or promotional material at your stand at any point.

Personal Protective Equipment

High visibility vests should be worn during build-up and breakdown. Please note that open-toe shoes and/ or sandals will not be accepted on site during build-up and breakdown; appropriate footwear must be worn.
