Free parking is available for exhibitors in the car park at the end of the service yard, next to the entry gate. Pay & Display is in operation at other car parks at P&J Live. Please note that vehicles may not be left overnight without pre-arrangement with the P&J Live Event Manager, via the Operations Team.
The hall is carpeted throughout with grey carpet tiles. Carpets, and other floor coverings, must be at least flame-retardant according to DIN 4102 - B1 and/or EN 13501-1 class C. Test certificates, stating the classifications of the materials employed, should be kept available on stands at all times.
Lunch is included for exhibitor pass holders. A wide range of exhibition catering options can be ordered through the P&J Live on-line shop. If you require anything that is not in the shop, please contact Graham Mutch, gmutch@pandjlive.com. All alcohol served must be purchased from the venue due to licensing restrictions.
The exhibition halls are regarded as a building site during build-up and breakdown and, as such, no-one under the age of 16 is permitted entry either alone or accompanied by an adult. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult during the show open period.
The exhibition hall will be cleaned prior to the show opening each day. This will include all public aisles and common areas and, where possible, stands will have light vacuuming. Closed storage rooms will not be cleaned unless someone is on the stand. Additional cleaning work can be ordered through the P&J Live on-line shop. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to keep their stands tidy, and for ensuring that waste is deposited in accordance with the rules on waste disposal. For health and safety reasons it is important that all exhibitors and contractors keep walkways clear of rubbish. Any items left in the aisles are subject to being cleared away, regardless of whether or not they are waste.
Cloakroom facilities will be available at Floating Offshore Wind free of charge.
Organisers of large pavilions can register co-exhibitors directly with the event organisers. Only by doing this can you ensure that your co-exhibiting company will benefit from a separate entry in the Floating Offshore Wind online exhibitor list, and in the event app.

During the show: under normal circumstances, no goods may be delivered to, or removed from, stands during the open hours of the exhibition.
Access to the hall: during build-up days all exhibitors and contractors will be able to enter the Hall via the Service Yard and rear roller doors, or ‘Sub-T’ (subterranean) car park, or via the main front entrance. For any large deliveries, please follow the road signs to the Service Yard (access here is for unloading/loading only). Proceed to the ‘Sub-T’ car park with any hand carry items. On event days, access will not be possible via the Service Yard.
Forklift: CEVA Showfreight is appointed by RenewableUK as the sole official logistics contractor at Floating Offshore Wind 2025. This puts CEVA in the unique position of being the only authorised company to operate forklift trucks and cranes inside the hall at the exhibition.
Storage: There is very limited facility for re-stocking on site. For safety reasons, packing materials cannot be stored behind stands; exhibitors are responsible for the daily removal of all packaging materials. There is no free storage facility on site, so it is important that you include in your stand design sufficient area for all products and literature required at the show.

All business, including the dispensing of literature and promotional material, must be conducted from your stand. It is not permitted to distribute leaflets etc at the entrance to the event, in the gangways or any other part of the exhibition hall. Please note that materials must not be attached to the fabric of the building. Any costs which result from the removal of this kind of material will be charged to the exhibitor responsible.
All electrical contractors are required to test their electrical installation to a minimum standard demonstrated in the Current EIA Electrical regulations, also Incorporating BS 7671 17th edition. Please refer to the eGuide.
All electrical appliances used by exhibitors must be compatible with standard UK voltage provided by the venue, as to ensure safety in use. May we remind you that UK sockets will be supplied, so you may need to bring an EU/UK adapter for any electrical devices you bring from outside the UK. Electrical items must be marked as having been PAT tested.
Adaptors: multi-way plug-in type and bayonet adaptors shall not be used. The use of trailing/block type 4-way fused sockets shall be restricted to the following:
The electricity network is divided into sections within the hall. For safety reasons, the power for each section cannot be switched on until all the installations on a block of stands have been made.

The exhibition hall will have designated emergency gangways. These must be kept clear at all times throughout build-up and breakdown. All exhibitors and contractors on site are responsible for keeping these aisles clear.

The venue has a comprehensive fire alarm system and fire-fighting equipment. Fire stations must be always visible and accessible. Fire stations can be fire hoses, fire extinguishers or fire alarm points. Fire exits should be kept free of obstruction at all times. Exhibitors and contractors should acquaint themselves with the location of their nearest fire exit and fire assembly point. If an emergency situation arises, please follow the venue staff's instructions.
Event Management wish to stress the importance of a consistent check being made on the contents of exhibitors' stands to see that no unidentified package, case, or bag has been left unattended. In any case of doubt, the article should not be handled; inform a member of the Organising Team or a member of the venue staff if you suspect an emergency situation.
Stand walls and ceilings should be made of classified fire-retardant materials ie as good as or better than wood. Particle board, nonporous fibre-wood, plywood etc are acceptable. Fire-retardant materials must be approved. Approval or certificates must be available at the stand should we request them. Temporary furnishings and decorations must be in non-flammable materials or fireproofed in line with the relevant regulations. Flammable gases/liquids/objects may not be used or stored indoors without relevant documentation and approval from the Organiser and the P&J Live
Event Manager. Use of fire or naked lights (including candles) is strictly prohibited.
Packaging and other flammable material must not be stored at the stand or in the exhibition hall. Any material left at the stand after the event has closed will be classed as waste and the exhibitor will be invoiced for its disposal.
Any person requiring first aid treatment should come to the registration area and a staff member will contact the P&J Live staff.

There are two hotels on the venue complex (Hilton TECA and Aloft TECA), and others around Aberdeen. Discounts, on a number of local hotels, will be offered to registered attendees via the show website.
Floating Offshore Wind exhibition contracts and policies require all exhibitors to have a valid Public Liability Insurance of £5,000,000 and to insure any equipment or goods that will be brought into the exhibition hall. Public Liability Insurance is not the same as Employers' Liability Insurance, which is mandatory in the UK.
Public Liability Insurance covers the cost of claims made by members of the public for incidents that occur in connection with your business activities. Public Liability Insurance covers the cost of compensation for:

The maximum permissible total sound level in any area of the show is 80db, measurable at a distance of three meters from the source of sound using a directional decibel meter. Please ensure that music and commentary for demonstrations, videos, presentations etc are kept at a level that will not interfere with neighbouring stands. Exhibitors failing to comply with warnings from the show management may incur a fine or have the power to their stand cut off.
If you propose to play music on your stand, or if you propose to use a TV, video, or other means to play sound recordings or show films, you must obtain the appropriate licences. By law you require a licence to play music at the exhibition. The Performing Rights Licence and Phonographic Performance Licence can be obtained as a single licence: The Music Licence. You can find information on The Music Licence on the PPL PRS website.
If you wish to use neon lighting, please contact the Operations Team. All neon installations must incorporate a fireman's switch.
Exhibitors who have any queries during show build can visit the Exhibitors' Desk. This will be signposted at the Hall A entry. During show open times exhibitors should visit the Registration Desk with any enquiries.
The Floating Offshore Wind Exhibition Operations Team will be located on site in the exhibition hall. The Office will be open during tenancy hours.
During build-up and breakdown, contractors and exhibitors are required to wear build-up/breakdown wristbands. Please collect as many as you need from the security personnel upon your arrival at the venue. Passes can only be collected if the Health & Safety Form has been completed for your stand.
If you wish to bring your own photographer to the event, please note their pass would need to be purchased, or be within your own stand allocation.
You must show all rigging proposals on your submitted stand plans. All drop wires and rigging must be arranged through P&J Live but is at the approval of the Organisers. Maximum banner/lighting rig height, from the hall floor to the top of the banner/suspension, is 4m for first two rows of stands, and 5m for the remaining rows. Banners must be set back 1m from any adjoining stands.

Smoking and e-cigarettes are not permitted within the halls at any point during the show and should only be used in the designated smoking areas externally from the hall. Cigarette end bins are available at all designated smoking areas and must be used.
All standfittings, exhibits and displays must stay within the footprint of your stand. No items may protrude into, or hang over, the aisles.
Please ensure your stand is manned and exhibits displayed throughout the open period of the exhibition. For health & safety reasons, and in order not to show discourtesy to late visitors and other exhibitors, no dismantling of exhibits may begin until the exhibition closes and the halls are clear of all visitors on Wednesday 13 November.
All stand receptions need to be approved by the organiser. Once approvals are in place, stand catering must be ordered via the P&J Live on-line shop.
